Welcome to LAEMMLE Chemicals. Driven by a passion for the sustainable and responsible use of chemicals. For over 77 years, we have specialised in the development, manufacture and production of lubricants, thereby making a significant contribution to the long-term development of the economy and society.

Driven by a spirit of innovation and a focus on our customers, our aim is to provide comprehensive support to the commercial and industrial sectors with chemical solutions – going far beyond mere lubricants. Our customers benefit from a versatile, one-stop product range that is specifically tailored to the requirements of their core business and also includes specialised cleaning and maintenance products.

Our LAEMMLE Group, headquartered in the beautiful Zurich Oberland and with lubricant production in Madetswil, comprises the subsidiaries LAEMMLE Produkte AG in Grüningen and the production site in Mönchaltorf, which specialise in water- and alcohol-based chemical products. The LAEMMLE Group employs around 130 staff.

We develop oil-, water- and alcohol-based chemical products, that are geared towards the demands of the future . To this end, we push the boundaries of what is technically sensible and feasible. We manufacture our products in accordance with our standards, which must be measured not only against legal requirements, but also against our vision and mission . We advise users of oil-, water- and alcohol-based chemical products on their optimal use and thus ensure both optimal performance and resource-conserving use. We communicate our vision, mission, values and achievements with vigour and pride, thereby contributing to the transformation of industries and society in line with our vision and mission.

Blending

To ensure safe and high-quality production, insulated and heated tanks are used inside the building. The components are transported to the mixing tanks via a dedicated piping system.

Computer-Aided Production

To ensure production safety, an IT system with a security concept and regular updates is required, as well as confirmation from the production manager for new work steps.

Total Quality Management

Thanks to Total Quality Management, you can rely on the quality of the brand name worldwide.

Ultra-fine filtration

A high-performance filtration system ensures that the products meet the minimum purity classes specified in ISO 4406 before being filled into containers.

Filling systems

Inspected and labelled containers are transported on roller conveyors to calibrated weighing platforms and filled at various filling stations, whilst greases and tankers are filled at separate stations.

Yes, laemmle-chemicals has a canteen with a kitchen and microwaves, as well as a lovely terrace which is often used for barbecues in the summer. Unfortunately, there are no other catering facilities on site, but a bakery, a grocery shop and various restaurants are just a few minutes’ drive away.
Yes, laemmle-chemicals offers apprenticeship places. We welcome motivated applicants who wish to gain initial experience in the chemical industry or complete a comprehensive apprenticeship with us. Unsolicited applications for apprenticeship places are welcome at any time.
