From 1 May 2026, a raw materials and energy surcharge will be shown on invoices. This surcharge is temporary and provisionally limited to 31 October 2026

It is divided into the following types of surcharges:

We have classified each of our products into these groups because the raw materials behave differently in these areas. The temporary surcharges are listed separately and transparently on the invoice, in the same way as VAT.

The following example relates to the month of May.

The amount of the surcharge is determined using the RI (Raw Materials Index). For each item, we calculate the raw materials deviation and then work out the average per group. This average becomes the index. If, for example, the index for organic products ‘91 Raw Material and Energy Surcharge ROXOR Bio’ rises from 100 to 107, this results in a surcharge of 7 rappen per kilogram. Only the actual fluctuations in raw material and energy costs are taken into account; no other imputed additional costs are included in the calculation.

The RI (Raw Materials Index) is calculated monthly and set on the 1st of each month for the following month. The most recent calculation for March 2026 serves as the base index of 100.

• The index is valid from the 1st to the end of each month (e.g. the May index is valid from 1 May to 31 May).
• The index is recalculated every month
• The index is published on this website on the 25th of each month
• The order date is decisive
