ROXOR TERRA PRIME SYNTH 46 – a newly developed bio-hydraulic oil based on biomass
Madetswil, January 26, 2026 – With ROXOR TERRA PRIME SYNTH 46, LAEMMLE Chemicals AG is launching a completely newly developed, fully synthetic bio-hydraulic oil. The product is based on biomass and sets new standards in terms of sustainability, performance and compliance with standards.
LAEMMLE Chemicals AG is launching ROXOR TERRA PRIME SYNTH 46, a new bio-hydraulic oil developed using a completely new technological approach. The innovative formulation is based on biomass rather than fossil raw materials and meets the latest technical, environmental and regulatory requirements. “This is unprecedented. A bio-hydraulic oil that not only protects the environment in the event of a spill, but is also built on the principles of the circular economy right from the raw materials stage, is a first in the oil industry,” explains Silvan Lämmle, CEO of Marketing and Sales. The bio-hydraulic oil is rapidly biodegradable according to OECD 301B, non-toxic (OECD 201 / 202) and shows no bacteriostatic effect according to OECD 209. It complies with the new ISO 15380 (edition 10/2023) and requires no hazard symbols. The use of biomass-based raw materials conserves fossil resources by up to 46 per cent. At the same time, the formulation enables a CO₂ reduction of around 25 per cent from the very first day of use.
In addition to its environmental credentials, the product impresses with its high technical performance and is characterised by excellent elastomer compatibility, thereby reducing damage to hoses and sources of leaks. An integrated anti-squeak system minimises rattling and squeaking without the need for additional additives. “In addition to the innovative core technology, we have modernised the additive system from the ground up and created a new masterpiece. For us, responsible chemistry is embedded in every litre of organic hydraulic oil,” adds Sarah Mohr-Lämmle, CEO of Production and Technology.
Excellent heat dissipation and electrical conductivity help to protect components and sealing materials. The oil’s good air separation capacity enables rapid bleeding of the hydraulic oil, whilst its high oxidation stability contributes to long service life and, consequently, attractive cost-effectiveness. In addition to ISO 46, the product is also available in the viscosities ISO 15, 22, 32 and 68.
