Between Hydraulic Oil, Seals and Dialogue: An insight into the 2026 specialist seminar

On 13 March 2026, together with the Schenker Hydraulik AG we were delighted to welcome experts from industry and technology to our specialist seminar at. The Eventhus Eagle Inn provided the perfect setting: a venue that lends itself just as well to focused work as to relaxed conversations in between. A day that demonstrated once again: specialist knowledge, practical relevance and personal interaction work best together.

Hydraulic oil, seals and the impact of the right decision

The seminar focused on topics that are often taken for granted in everyday life – yet whose influence is crucial: hydraulic oil, sealing technology and sustainable system optimisation. The technical presentations by the speakers made it clear just how much the performance and service life of systems depend on the right choice. When it comes to hydraulic oil, for example, it is no longer just about lubrication, but about efficiency, wear protection and operational safety. (Or, to put it pragmatically: the wrong oil usually only becomes apparent when it is too late.) Sealing technology also proved to be an underestimated key area. What may seem unremarkable at first glance often determines in practice whether a system remains stable or comes to a standstill. The solutions presented clearly demonstrated how, through careful selection and application, maintenance intervals can be optimised and breakdowns reduced.

Retrofit rather than replacement – sustainable optimisation with substance

Another key focus was on the question of how existing systems can be developed further in a meaningful way. The approach: retrofitting rather than completely replacing a system. Using specific practical examples, it was demonstrated how targeted modifications can make existing facilities more efficient, longer-lasting and more sustainable. This not only reduces costs but also minimises resource consumption – an issue that is becoming increasingly important within the industry. (In short: not every improvement requires a new purchase. Often, a precise adjustment in the right place is enough.)

Exchange that continues to have an impact beyond the seminar day

In addition to the specialist presentations, the seminar also provided an opportunity for personal discussion.
Over coffee, lunch and the closing drinks reception, conversations took place that deepened the exchange of knowledge and opened up new perspectives. After all, particularly in technical fields, the following applies: good solutions rarely arise in isolation – but through dialogue. One detail that should not go unmentioned: The culinary experience provided by the catering team at FoodArt4You contributed significantly to the pleasant atmosphere. (Feedback from participants suggests that it is not only the content that will be remembered.)

A seminar that leaves a lasting impression

The 2026 specialist seminar has once again demonstrated how great the interest in practical, cost-effective and sustainable solutions is – and how important platforms for direct exchange remain. We would like to thank all the speakers, participants and our partner, the Schenker Hydraulik AG, for their dedicated involvement and the fascinating insights into the practical side of things. And, as is so often the case, at the end of a day like this, we’re left not only with new knowledge, but also with a simple realisation: The best ideas emerge where experience meets exchange. We’re already looking forward to the next specialist seminar.
