Dear customers and business partners
As announced in a press release on 2 November 2022, PANOLIN is transferring its ‘Bio-Lubricants’ business unit, including the trademark rights, to Shell. Shell is also taking over the international sales structure. PANOLIN will become the global brand for bio-lubricants under the name “Shell PANOLIN”.
The company in Madetswil, including production and labouratories, remains in the hands of the Lämmle family.
Sarah Mohr-Lämmle and Silvan Lämmle will continue to run the business as owners. Christian Lämmle will continue to serve as Chairman of the Board.
As we intend to clearly separate our business divisions in future and the trademark rights are tied to the organic range, we will continue to operate independently on the market over the coming weeks under a new company name and oil brand, offering our tried-and-tested premium lubricants ‘Made in Switzerland’.
We will continue to drive forward the remaining business with mineral and synthetic engine, gearbox and hydraulic oils, food-grade lubricants, cooling lubricants, greases and sprays, etc. (i.e. everything except organic products), as well as the entire product range of FRIPOO Produkte AG, comprising the ‘Polyston’, ‘Fiesta’ and ‘Allerno’ brands, will be driven forward with full vigour. Your points of contact in these business areas will remain unchanged. We will continue to be your oil and chemicals specialist, drawing on the full technical expertise gained from over 70 years of experience.
