Die-casting industry
Process reliability, component quality and efficiency in continuous operation
In die-casting production, high temperatures, short cycle times and heavy mechanical stresses are combined with complex mould geometries. Under these conditions, substances such as mould release agents, piston lubricants, hydraulic oils and heat transfer oils must not only function reliably, but also contribute to component quality, process stability and occupational safety.
All product groups are already listed. Until the new online shop is available, the links for each group will direct you to the central product list. This way, you can keep track of everything at all times. Further documentation can be found on myChemicals - your personal platform for technical data sheets, brochures and more.

Ensure casting quality – reduce maintenance – stabilise processes
- Thermally stable fluids for series production processes: flame-retardant hydraulic oils and piston lubricants with high viscosity stability ensure consistent process parameters at high sustained temperatures. This reduces tolerance deviations and increases reproducibility, even during long operating times.
- Low-residue release with minimal maintenance: piston lubricants and mould release agents evaporate in a controlled manner and leave virtually no residue. Mould surfaces remain clean, cleaning cycles are shortened and mould quality remains consistent.
- Fire protection in dynamic plant areas: Flame-retardant hydraulic oils (HFC/HFD) reduce the risk of thermal incidents – particularly with short cycle times, high output and fire-prone installation locations.
- Longer intervals, lower consumption: Durable formulations with precise dosing behaviour reduce lubricant consumption, extend service life and minimise maintenance – for greater plant availability and more cost-effective processes.
Applications and solutions for the die-casting industry
- Hydraulic systems in die-casting machines: flame-retardant hydraulic oils (HFC/HFD) for safe operation under high pressures and thermal stress – oxidation-resistant, shear-stable and with high seal compatibility for fire-prone working environments.
- Piston and moulding units: Piston lubricants for hot-chamber and cold-chamber processes – available as granules or oil-based. Optimised for metered application, reduced energy consumption, protection against cold welding, and extended service life of pistons and moulding chambers.
- Mould release in complex geometries: mould release agents with high temperature resistance and a fine spray pattern ensure uniform coating – for precise component contours, clean demoulding and reduced residue on the mould. Suitable for automated dosing and spraying systems.
- Temperature control of moulds and systems: heat transfer oils with high temperature stability and oxidation resistance for indirect mould heating – low-residue, stable over the long term and compatible with a variety of materials.

Coolant management
In collaboration with Brisco Systems, we ensure that your machine tools are supplied with the optimum amount of cooling lubricant at all times. This enhances process reliability in your operation – even during unmanned shifts. Thanks to comprehensive real-time monitoring, all relevant KSS parameters – such as pH, concentration, electrical conductivity, temperature and bacterial growth – are precisely controlled. The result: reduced tooling costs and lower KSS consumption ensure more cost-effective operation. We would be happy to advise you on request and demonstrate pilot systems in action so that you can see the benefits for yourself.
